SEIMA Project 2025 Now Accepting Entries
The Southeastern Indiana Musician’s Association Hall Of Fame will be giving $1000 cash awards to the Top Winners and $350 cash awards to all Second Place Winners of the 2025 SEIMA PROJECT. The SEIMA PROJECT (Inspiring Local Music) is created to give young musicians, 14 to 19 years of age, a helping hand to achieve their dreams and goals. The participants may be an instrumentalist and/or a vocalist. They must also be a resident of Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley or Switzerland Counties in Indiana to enter.
The Association is inviting you or someone you know in your school’s Music Department, area Church, Private Music Instruction or Homeschool to become a contact for the Southeastern Indiana Musician’s Association’s “SEIMA PROJECT”. Please help us contact the serious and passionate young individuals who want to improve musically.
Since 2001 the Association has recognized deserving individuals for their musical accomplishments and contributions to our community. NOW, we want to give a helping hand to our future musicians who have a passion for the art and performance of music.
Please help us to inspire the future of music in our home area. If you have any questions please visit our website at www.seimusic.org and “CONTACT” us. You will learn more about us, see the Hall Of Fame from 2001 to the present, read about our induction ceremony every November, news updates, who our SEIMA PROJECT Winners are from past years and see our new mural at Civic Park in Lawrenceburg, IN.
(THANK-YOU TO THE FOLLOWING DIRECTORS FOR THEIR PRAISE)
“I can’t say how neat it is, that we have a local project/experience that gives up and coming musicians a way to show their skills before heading off to college, trade school, apprenticeships or a career in music….. The process is simple and rewarding.” - CRYSTAL JOY POWERS: Director of the Southeast Indiana Youth Orchestra
“The SEIMA PROJECT is a wonderful opportunity for young musicians from Southeast Indiana to showcase their talents and receive financial support…. It has given my students confidence in their abilities and helped them to reach their goals.” - DONNA TANNER: Music Department Head, Choral Director and Asst.
